OMI MedTech is a dynamic and innovative healthcare technology management company dedicated to providing world-class service to medical facilities throughout Florida and beyond.

OMI MedTech is looking for an administrative intern to join our team in our Sanford office. This individual will work to support the daily operations of the office. This internship is designed to provide exposure to different facets of business operations, including but not limited to process optimization, project coordination, marketing, and financial management. This internship would require the intern to be present in our Sanford office for 1-2 days per week. Days are flexible.


The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support inventory management and procurement activities.
  • Contribute to the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in project management tasks, including planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support to the operations team.
  • Responsible for transferring data from computer applications to CMMS Software. 


Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Currently pursuing a degree in [relevant fields, such as business administration, operations management, health sciences, or a related discipline]
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Positive, high-energy attitude
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
