About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical assemblies used in our imaging systems.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure high-quality production. The assembler will collaborate with engineers and production team members to meet daily production goals and maintain Omega’s high standards for quality and reliability.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical assemblies used in our imaging systems.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings, schematics, and work instructions to ensure high-quality production. The assembler will collaborate with engineers and production team members to meet daily production goals and maintain Omega’s high standards for quality and reliability.
- Assemble electrical, mechanical assemblies according to drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to complete assemblies
- Perform functional testing on assembled components to ensure proper operation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electrical and mechanical components
- Report any productions issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to improve assembly processes and enhance product quality
- Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry standards and best practices
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvements by suggesting and implementing process improvements
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, soldering stations) and the ability to assemble mechanical components such as gears, motors, and cabinets.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments like calipers or micrometers.
- Experience with wire harnessing, crimping, stripping, and connector assembly.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Ability to lift and move components and materials as required (typically up to 25-50 lbs)
